ATTRACTIVE PLACES OF PHONG NHA FOR TOURISTS

Phong Nha Ke-Bang National park is home to some of the biggest and most beautiful caves in the world. It is renowned for trekking and caving and has a variety options to suit adventurers of all fitness levels.
Visitors, however should not neglect the fact that staying in Phong Nha provides the best opportunities to explore rural Vietnam. This can be done in the buffer zone to the National Park. Phong Nha Farmstay Village, the Bong Lai Valley and the old French road along the river provide once in a lifetime photo opportunities and the experience of the “Real Vietnam” either by bicycle on your own or by touring with one of our licensed and experienced staff.
The easily accessible Phong Nha cave is just a boat ride up the river past the Victory Road Villas. Once a strategic point for the Vietnamese army during the war, Phong Nha cave is now a majestic underground river and stunning karst cave that you are rowed through by the local people.
At the other end of the spectrum, Phong Nha is also home to Son Doong cave, the biggest cave in the world and is only accessible on a 4 or 5 day expedition. There is something for everyone. The National Park itself is famous for its pristine rivers and magnificent mountains and a sidecar motorbike ride around the park is a memorable way to journey through this incredible landscape.
